Cleaning beads are a routine consumable. The A-kit includes additional components, including the impeller and pH electrode. Those components can last substantially longer than a year, so an annual full-kit replacement is not a standard cost assumption. Extreme water conditions can shorten pH electrode life.
Compare like-for-like annual costs.
Use a representative quote and your maintenance history. Include cleaning beads, condition-based component replacements, reference checks, labor, batteries and communications in each annual budget. Spread longer-life parts over a realistic service interval. Do not use a best-case bead-only allowance as total annual operating cost.
