Commercial swimming pools

Halogen Systems Free Chlorine sensor uses the amperometric technique (PPM) and is ideally suited for use in swimming pools. Since many operators are accustomed to using ORP, the Swimming Pool Controller displays both ORP and PPM chlorine by default. The ORP method uses a patent pending method Rapid Response ORPTM prevents absorption of organics when high levels of cyanuric acid are present (see below).

It is a multi parameter sensor that  measures 5 parameters:

Cooling Towers

Cooling towers are notoriously difficult applications for chlorine and bromine sensors.

Many operate at high cycles of concentrations (very high conductivity and hardness) and often use film forming corrosion inhibitors and have organic contaminants.  HSI’s sensor is ideally suited for these challenging applications.  It can measure either chlorine or bromine and its self-cleaning features clean the electrodes continuously.  Its built-in conductivity sensor can eliminate several discrete sensors.
