December 23, 2011 – The US Government awarded Halogens Systems, Inc. $750K for a Phase II SBIR project for the measurement of high levels of Total Residual Oxidants (Chlorine and Bromine) in its Next Generation Reverse Osmosis Desalination System. The sensor must operate without calibration for 1,000 to 3,000 hours measuring 50 to 500 ppm of TRO in seawater.
