Precision Water Monitoring.
Zero Compromise.
Halogen Systems Inc. was founded on a simple idea: water quality monitoring shouldn't require constant maintenance, expensive reagents, or wasted water. We built the technology to make that real.

Make accurate water quality data available everywhere — without the burden of traditional analyzer maintenance.
Halogen combines bare-electrode amperometry, mechanical cleaning and direct-water installation options. This can reduce reagent handling and sample-water discharge while keeping reference checks, commissioning and model-specific maintenance part of the operating plan.
From engineering to the test bench.

Key Milestones
Amperometric Innovation
Developed bare-electrode amperometric technology that eliminates reagents and membranes entirely.
SensiCLENE Patent
Developed polymer bead mechanical cleaning to reduce electrode fouling. Reference checks and service intervals depend on model and water conditions.
NSF-61 Certification
Offers sensors certified to NSF/ANSI 61 for wetted materials in drinking-water contact. Verify the listed model and configuration.
Global Deployment
Sensors deployed across municipal water systems, commercial buildings, maritime vessels, and industrial facilities worldwide.
The experience behind Halogen.

Mike Silveri
CEO & Founder · Halogen Systems Inc.
More than three decades working on water treatment.
Mike Silveri, known in patent and research records as Michael A. Silveri, is the founder of Halogen Systems. His work spans electrolytic water treatment, bromine sensing, pH control and amperometric chlorine measurement.
His documented invention record reaches back to a U.S. electrolytic pool purifier patent granted in 1991. In 1999, he coauthored research on reagentless amperometric bromine measurement and on an electrolytic process for removing ammonia and urea from spa water. That experience connects water chemistry with the practical work of measuring and maintaining disinfectant residuals.
We verified at least 25 distinct U.S. patent grant numbers naming him as an inventor or co-inventor, spanning 1991–2022. This career record includes earlier work outside Halogen. It excludes published applications and a separately listed reissue; it is not a count of currently active patents or distinct patent families.

Our Values
Engineering First
Every decision starts with the engineering. We build sensors that work in the real world — not just in a lab.
Zero Waste
Suitable direct-pipe installations avoid a dedicated sample-to-drain stream. Actual savings depend on the replaced analyzer, sample flow, bypass flow and operating hours.
Operator-Focused
We design for the people who maintain these systems. Simple installation, minimal maintenance, reliable data.
