MP-Mono™ Amperometric Chlorine Sensor

MP-Mono™: No Interference Monochloramine Readings

Municipal Drinking Water plants have been frustrated by the difficulty of accurately reading the monochloramine residual in their treated water for decades. Staying on the right side of the chlorine breakpoint curve has always been a delicate balance… until now

The MP-Mono™ accurately measures True Free Chlorine without interference from monochloramine and monochloramine without interference from dichloramine and trichloramine for precise control over the chloramination processes. Certified for NSF-61 installations, Halogen’s MP-Mono™, like the MP5-A™ Free Chlorine sensor, has a built-in impeller that generates a consistent flow across the diodes, capturing accurate and consistent readings. This same impeller excites cleaning beads in the sensor’s tip, allowing the patented cleaning system to clean the sensor surface. Because this sensor is flow-independent, self-cleaning, and does not need any waste stream, it can be installed virtually anywhere: inserted directly into a drinking water pipe, suspended in a trough, or dropped into a tank.

Measures Monochloramine & Free Chlorine All in One Chlorine Analyzer

Monochlormaine Analyzer at its best

The NSF-61 certified Halogen MP-Mono™ analyzer measures monochloramine and free chlorine in under two minutes using one online unit without wasting one drop of treated water. Operators can know where their monochloramine, free chlorine, pH, temperature, conductivity, and even control chemical feed with the D-20 Controller.

Capteur de chlore MP5 halogène NSF-61 Insensible au débit et à la pression

NON AFFECTÉ par le débit ou la pression

The MP-Mono™ adapts to nearly any flow or pressure. Even a dry pipe won’t ruin the calibration. It can be installed directly in a pipe, located side-stream, suspended in a trough, or dropped in a tank. Whatever the deployment type or parameters, the MP-Mono™ is unique in accuracy, reliability, and stability.

Simplifier le flux de travail

The MP-Mono™ makes things simple. Our NSF-61  certification means no flow-control plumbing and no waste stream to mitigate. There are no reagents or membranes to stock, manage, or replace. Instead, you’ll replace the cap, cleaning beads, and impeller blade once per year in 10 minutes without affecting its calibration.

The MP-Mono™ ROI Calc: Lower Operating Cost + Minimal Maintenance + Zero Water Waste

Les capteurs de l'ancienne technologie gaspillent l'eau traitée

Quelle quantité d'eau perdez-vous ?

An old-tech monochloramine sensor combined with a free-chlorine sensor requires around 138,000 gallons of flow per year to capture its readings. In areas subject to water restrictions, that is a lot of waste, but even in areas where water is plentiful, the treatment costs and maintenance headaches can all be avoided with the MP-Mono™.

The MP-Mono™ Makes Remote Tanks Easy

Installed directly in-pipe and unaffected by flow and pressure —even a dry pipe won’t throw off the calibration— the MP-Mono™ is a dream for operators with remote tanks. Combined with our battery-powered cellular reporting solution for the ultimate remote tank sensor solution.

The operators and staff in this program were pleasantly surprised at just how little maintenance has been needed. “Sensor calibration is performed initially and has not been required in over six months…manpower savings are … an estimated savings of 2,080 man-hours per year for five sensors.” <read more>

Une technologie forgée dans les environnements les plus difficiles. Maintenant prête pour le vôtre.

With patented tech created to solve the environmental impact issues dogging the maritime shipping industry, Halogen has created a solution that solves problems many wastewater plant operators had written off as “the way things are.” The Halogen MP-Mono™ and MP5-A™ are designed to let those same operators work within a new paradigm.
